Magnesia-carbon bricks

With magnesium oxide and carbon as the main component of the refractory. MgO containing 60% ~ 90%, carbon 10% ~ 40%. With excellent resistance to slag corrosion, slag permeability, thermal shock resistance and thermal conductivity. Apparent porosity of 3% ~ 10%. Use of high-purity magnesia powder, carbon materials (including graphite) and tar pitch or resin as raw materials, ingredients, hot mixing, molding, after, and then by about 300 or above 1000 calcined formed. To inhibit the oxidation of the carbon brick, often add aluminum, silicon, magnesium and other metal or boron nitride, by adding the amount of no more than 5%. Oxidation converter is mainly used for steel lining, a steel mouth, high-power electric furnace hot part of the wall, as well as refining furnace linings, ladle slag line area and so on.
